Tiana Major9 channels Bonnie & Clyde-esque vibes in the release of her new and first ever music video for her latest single “Levee (Let It Break)“.The East London singer/songwriter has been a one to watch after the release of her first official single “Merry Go Round“, which currently has almost 500,000 streams on Spotify alone, and this video with its creative approach will definitely turn you into a fan.
Starring Tiana and her partner in crime Knucks, the pair are hunted across town by undercover cops for what seems to be some ‘mysterious loot’. A quick change before they hit the nightlife but the cops aren’t far behind. A sudden getaway but not before being caught off guard by her doppelganger, it looked like they might have been foiled but the ‘on the run’ duo get the better of the cops in the end.
Props to Nyiwa Katalayi for directing and putting together this visually attractive piece but also to Tiana Major9 and PRGRSHN for a beautifully jazzy yet contemporary track and some exuberantly soulful vocals on display. Watch the new video below.
