Top Gear may have just found its feet; the overnight ratings for yesterday’s show (26 June) increased by 300,000 to 2.68 million viewers.
The ratings were a boost for the beleaguered show that has suffered record lows under Chris Evans and his new team in terms of overnight audiences, and there are fresh reports of tension between Evans and Matt LeBlanc with the latter demanding the firing of the prior surfacing again this week.
This may be a step forward, but it’s far down from the 4.3 million audience that the show debuted with. View a graph of the show’s ratings here.
