Nashville and Toronto-based singer, songwriter, and producer Billy Raffoul is set to release his new full-length album, For All These Years, on October 10 via Nettwerk. Working with long-time collaborators Justin Zuccato, Mike Crossey, and his brother Peter Raffoul, this album represents an important next step in Raffoul’s musical journey, reflecting a matured sense of artistry.
The album, For All These Years, is an anthology of songs that explore various relationships and characters, ranging from connections with family to memories of past lovers.
Raffoul expressed enthusiasm for this album, stating that it’s the first record he’s made that truly captures all his musical inspirations in one LP. Moreover, this is an album with significant personal collaboration, including three songs co-written with his brother.
As a preview to the album, Raffoul has released a ballad titled “In My Arms,” along with an emotionally raw video directed by Hannah Gray Hall.
The song, available on all streaming platforms, is about the vulnerability and trust at the beginning stages of a relationship. Its lyrics, stripped production, and rhythmic beat deliver a heartfelt message and create an intimate connection with listeners.
Billy Raffoul plans to celebrate the new album with a North American fall tour. The tour will start in Detroit at The Magic Bag, making stops in major cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York, before concluding in Boston at Cafe 939.
Raffoul’s musical roots run deep. The son of regional solo artist Jody Raffoul, he spent his childhood immersed in rock history, learning guitar, and observing his father’s performances.
He gained popularity in the latter part of the 2010s with his EPs and singles and made his full-length debut in 2020 with “International Hotel.” A move towards a more acoustic and raw sound marked a new direction for the young artist.
Raffoul’s upcoming album, For All These Years, showcases his graceful, gritty vocals and his natural ability to narrate stories filled with emotion.
As Raffoul steps into this new phase of his career, his evolving sound reflects a commitment to authenticity and storytelling, characteristics that have shaped his journey from his early days performing in his hometown of Leamington, Ontario, to his current standing as a recognized name in the music industry.
The anticipation for the album highlights his growth as an artist and the genuine connection he continues to build with his audience.
