Toronto Rap Duo A1 Return With New Single ‘Again’ | Music News

Returning with a fresh out of the box new single titled “Again”, comes the energising Canadian rap duo A1. Bursting onto the scene not long ago, the Ontario bred duo have caused a remarkable mix from that point forward, with their irresistible melodic and raw emotional rap styling and masterful visuals on fan-favourite tracks like “Margeila” and “Safezone”.

Their latest hit comes as the most recent antecedent to A1 impending debut EP Heavy Heart, collaborating with platinum selling producer Figurezmadeit, who has as of late worked with the likes of Roddy Rich, Migos, Future and Lil Durk.

Comprised of cherished companions Milly and Sincere, who’ve essentially become family, started their excursion into music at eighteen years old, when they went into the studio for the first time –the rest as is commonly said is history!

For this new project, the rap duo have connected up with producers Zepfire (G-Eazy, Partynextdoor, Hodgy Beats) and Nao.e to convey a smooth, infectious and resonant rap sung, with which A1 are in contemplative mode, as they wax melodious about failed relationships, allurements and love lost.

Looking into the artistic visuals for ‘Again’, A1 have teamed up with fast-rising video director Camyl Buenaventura, whose credits incorporate past work with Audi, Volvo, Bumble and the Toronto Raptors.

Shot in downtown Toronto and driven by Camyl’s dark, brooding and unmistakable visual style, the spellbinding video consummately catches the topics of adoration, connections and deception that ‘Again’ investigates, as it follows Milly and Sincere of A1 as they get entangled with an apparently unassuming ‘maneater’ who takes the souls of the individuals that they’re dating.

Talking about the motivation behind ‘Again’, A1 say, “as with most of our songs, Again was entirely inspired and created from our own real-life experiences. The song takes you through emotions of temptation, deception and losing love; while also speaking about coming to terms with the women who have done us wrong, and vice versa.

We wanted the listener to feel what we felt, and we know a lot of people can relate. At the same time, for the video, we wanted to create a very vivid image that essentially reminds you that no matter how beautiful love can be, you have to be careful because you never know what someone’s true intentions may be”.
