Paramount Pictures has revealed that a prequel for Transformers is in the making process, although there aren’t enough details being given. According to Deadline, the story of this new movie will be “more or less an origin story that takes place on Cybertron“, and is tentatively being called Transformers One. There is also no information about if this film will be a live-action or an animated movie.
There are two new members to the writing team for this project and they are Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. The rest of the group also includes The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Punisher: War Zone), Zak Penn (The Incredible Hulk), and Jeff Pinkner (The Amazing Spider-Man 2).
