Travis Scott hasn’t released much music since Astroworld, but he’s definitely been working.
On August 22, he has surprised his 18.5 million followers on Instagram, with a picture of what seems to be his next documentary for Netflix. On the picture were some VHS tapes bearing the titled Look Mom I Can Fly, with the rapper’s face on the front, along with the Netflix logo.
“GOT SOMETHING U MIGHT WANNA SEE IT..!!!MEET ME HERE NETFLIX AND NO. CHILL” he headlined it along with a Houston address for a pop up event. Scott came to this pop event where limited numbers of VHS tapes were given out, and in the VHS, there was a “Special Bonus Limited Edition Documentary Video”, which turn to be a 60-second promo clip of the upcoming documentary.
The documentary is set to relive the last year of Scott’s life, from making the Astroworld album to the wild ‘Wish You Were Here’ tour, and we’ll also follow is relationship with Kylie Jenner and notably his first days as a father. On his Instagram post, there was no word of a release date, but posters across the pop-up announced it would be released on Netflix on August 28.
