Tre Mission is a Big Dada backed Toronto based rapper, who grew up on a strict staple diet of UK garage and grime. An Anglophile at heart, it is no surprise his delivery is more likely to conjure up mental images of Lewisham, rather than that of Drake’s Views album cover, the CN Tower.
Tre’s latest track, “Gang”, features a new Faze Miyake remix. Rattling drums punctuate tight flows, with what sounds like sirens in the background. A middle section features a refrain, with gunshots and heavy drums in place of vocals. A fadeout then rings out, echoing out like turning down a booming sound system.
