This year, South-African born Australian vlogger and singer Troye Sivan returns with his second LP despite the tracklist, the title and the cover art yet to be confirmed.
The multi-talented Sivan was first discovered by his manager at a young age on his personal YouTube channel. Before the mega fame and the four EPs to date, he played a young Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
In the build-up to the second LP, Sivan has churned three singles so far – album titled “My My My!“, “The Good Side” and the new “Bloom“.
He described “Bloom” as a gay anthem and sex song about “the receptive partner losing his virginity”. In an interview, he mentioned: “It just ended up being a little bit ironic. It sounds like a commercially viable pop song, it’s very, very pop“.
“It feels almost like a borderline bubblegum, a little bit. We had so much fun writing it. And then the lyrics, it’s one of the dirtiest songs on the album“.
