I was absolutely gutted to hear of the sad passing of legend David Bowie yesterday (January 10). Bowie was a phenomenal performer, musician, and song-writer, and it’s no exaggeration to say that he revolutionised music. Bowie’s legacy and iconic status will live on long after his death.
Tonight (January 11) UK TV channels are giving you an opportunity to re-live his genius, by paying tribute to the great man himself. There are special changes to the TV schedules to honour Bowie’s contribution to popular culture, and those schedule-changes are listed below.
7.30pm – BBC1 – David Bowie: Sound And Vision.
A documentary exploring the life and work of David Bowie.
10.35pm – CH4 – David Bowie: Starman
A musical tribute to David Bowie, featuring the songs and videos that made him one of the world’s greatest artists.
11.15pm – BBC2 – Five Years
An intimate portrait of 5 key years in David Bowie’s career.
