Twenty One Pilots Drop Two New Songs And Announce World Tour | Music News

It’s been a hell of a week for Twenty One Pilots‘ fans. Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, after having teased their fans with cryptic tweets and teasers, have pulled yet another surprising move.

Today, they released two brand new singles, “Jumpsuit” and “Nico And The Niners“, as well as a music video to accompany “Jumpsuit” and a list of dates for their just announced World Tour.

“Jumpsuit” is the natural continuation to Twenty One Pilots’ Blurryface. The track is a dub-rock cut that features heavy use of bass lines and, of course, Dun’s sick beats on the drums. Joseph’s habit to dwell into the darkest places of his mind is still here as he sings “I can’t believe how much I hate/Pressures of a new place roll my way“.

Moving on onto the other release, “Nico And The Niners”, here we can find Joseph’s signature vocal range in full display as he switches between different music genres. The reggae tune starts bouncy and feisty, only to unload when Joseph’s rap takes off.

If the two new singles weren’t enough on the day that keeps on giving, the band just announced the line up for their Bandito World Tour that will kick off on October 16 as well as a release date for their new album Trench, out on October 5.
