If you are as excited as me about Ryan Murphy’s upcoming American Horror Story: Freak Show season, then this one minute teaser will enthrall you, with all of its twisted and freaky components. The highlight of this feature is that we get to see the whole cast in action which offers a great deal regarding plot focus, and it reminds us just how terrifying the new season will be!
Sarah Paulson’s character, or should I say ‘characters’, are introduced as Bette and Dot the conjoined twins, who despite their conflicting personalities agree on joining Elsa Mars’s (Jessica Lange) circus Freak Show. Filled with vibrant colours as circus acts go underway, one is soon reminded of the dark overtones that consume the series.
Evan Peters’ character Jimmy Darling is plagued by the constant reminder he is not like others and releases his rage as he exclaims “Do not call us freaks!” Saving the best till last, we finally get a first look at Twisty the Clown as he viciously attacks a woman in her bed. Displayed with two single shots, his vesting image has done enough to infuse the entire trailer with terror and excitement. American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere on October 8, 2014.
