U2 are due to star in two HBO specials which are due to be released in November of this year. The first, due for release on November 7, is a behind-the-scenes documentary about their ‘Innocence + Experience’ tour which will is in support of last year’s Songs of Innocence album. The documentary is directed and produced by Davis Guggenheim and will feature interviews from the band and crew members, the bike accident that Bono had last year is also covered. The second special, airing on November 14, will be a concert film which is shot on the sam day as the tour’s final show at Bercy in Paris. This special is directed by Hamish Hamilton, who’s directed several of the band’s previous concert specials.
