2022 is her year and Mica Millar knows it. Heaven Knows, the new album by one of the brightest young singers in the British music landscape, bursts with confidence, showcasing Mica’s immaculate and powerful vocal performance.
Each of the album’s 14 tracks spotlight Mica’s artistic approach to songwriting and production, and this month, Mica has released the brand new music video for her single “More Than You Give Me”.
The amazing work this artist has done in her new album has garnered her some support from the likes of Trevor Nelson at BBC Radio 2, Craig Charles and Tom Robinson on 6 Music, and BBC Radio 1 with Victoria Jane and BBC Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday.
But this is not all, because Heaven Knows had a 5-star ‘soul album of the month’ in Echoes Magazine and was named “a classy debut” by Daily Express. The name ‘Mica Millar’ is also making its way across the pond, reaching Amazing Radio USA with all three of her recent singles.
Speaking about her new single, “More Than You Give Me”, Mica explains, “Sometimes it takes a new person or situation to make you reflect on a relationship with a new perspective. This song is about gaining that new perspective”.
“The concept for this video was about falling in and out of love. It’s about the places you go to in your mind when you’re fighting against the end of a relationship that you know isn’t right for you and being pulled towards someone else”, she continues.
