Ukrainian pop singer and songwriter ZHURBA has released her new single titled “When I Let You Go”.

Starting her solo career in 2021, ZHURBA’s style can be described as electro-pop, bedroom pop and related music genres, her activity list is currently composed of three released singles along three music videos including a collaboration with British producer Jonathan Gunton.
Because of the current condition in her home country, the singer established herself in Germany where she is now working. She travels across Europe stages to give support to those who are living and fighting for Ukraine.
Speaking about her new track “When I Let You Go”, the artist comments “In the chorus, I weaved quotes from our Ukrainian folk song ‘Chom tu ne pryishov’. In this song I tell a love story adapted to our time. The video should have been shot at the end of February in the studio of a famous Ukrainian sculptor in Kyiv.
But the war was started… Now the meaning of the song has changed, it has become deep and tragic. Unfortunately, now in the song you can hear not a fictional plot, but the realities of nowadays. The video has already been shot abroad”.
Her debut album is set to be released soon.
