On January 25, the Japanese brand Uniqlo used its YouTube account to share with a video called Louvre x Uniqlo Partnership in which we can immediately recognize the mythical glass pyramid of the very famous French museum The Louvre in Paris.
Uniqlo has added the inscription “Online and In stores February”. This hints at a collaboration with the Louvre Museum and some of the products will be sold in February.
For several years now, Uniqlo has partnered with iconic museums around the world to celebrate and support the arts through fashion. Indeed, Uniqlo has already collaborated with the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate Modern in London.
In addition, Uniqlo has confirmed its interest in art by working on projects aimed at deepening the understanding of art through the creation of free admission programmes, but also through the launch of collaborative products and the organisation of events such as its partnerships with the world’s most emblematic museums.
It should not be forgotten that the Japanese brand, which opened its first Uniqlo shop in Hiroshima in 1984, is well known for its involvement not only in art but above all in sustainable development with its involvement in reducing the use of plastic.
Keep an eye out for Uniqlo’s official announcement!
In the meantime, watch the teaser of the Uniqlo collaboration with the Louvre below, and take a look at the past collaboration between Uniqlo and the New York Museum of Modern Art underneath.
