Singer V Bozeman, most known for her role on hit TV show Empire, releases powerful song “Dear Officer” in relation to the many unwarranted police shootings.
Bozeman’s powerful voice and message paints the picture of the terrible recent incidents in America. “Our blood on your hands means nothing to you… will you let our brothers live today?” she sings.
The song is produced by renowned hip-hop producers Rodney Jerkins, Jr and features rapper Young Lyfe who references activists Martin Luther King, Jr and Malcolm X in his verse.
