US singer, songwriter, producer and soon to be mother Victoria Monét has launched a brand new single titled “F.U.C.K”. It is her first release since her album Jaguar, with which the independent artist dominated 2020, garnering over 100M streams.
During these two last years, she was and still is on the upward slope of her career and she probably won’t stop there. Indeed, in 2019, alongside the release of her self-love gym anthem “Ass Like That” which came with a 70s workout inspired video, Victoria managed to get nominated for the Grammy Awards four times.
In 2020, she was able to put her writings talent to the front of the show, writing for some well-known artists such as Chloe X Halle, BLACKPINK, Selena Gomez, Brandy and Ariana Grande.
Moreover, in that same year, she released three tracks “Moment”, “Dive” and “Experience”. All those single have been huge successes, garnering Monét support across the board, from the likes of NPR, PAPER, Pitchfork, Billboard, E-News, MTV, Fader, Hypebeast, Essence and V Magazine.
With her new single “F.U.C.K”, we can see the direct nod to the Gen Z community and she wanted to deliver a special message to this young generation, which is that we don’t have to be stuck into traditional commitment ideas by not putting any words on the relationship we are living.
The main goal of this single is to understand that we are free of our movement and our way to live our relationships.
Victoria has a future project coming soon like Promoted To The Title Just Above Queen… Mom which will be available soon. Can’t wait for it!
