Star of Shaun of The Dead and Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg, has a new movie out and it’s just gotten its brand new Red Band Trailer. New comedy/thriller Kill Me Three Times stars Pegg as a psycho assassin who discovered he isn’t the only one who’s trying to bump off his new female mark in a sun drenched surfing town. This black comedy sees Pegg unravel a murderous journey of three different tales of blackmail and revenge as carnage ensues.
It’s pretty cool that the story is told from three different view points of the one narrative and, as always, Pegg looks hilarious. I can’t quite figure out the tone of Kill Me Three Times, the trailer is a little mix matched between cheesy thriller and comedy caper but I’m actually quite optimistic. I’m a huge fan of Pegg so anything featuring this guy gets me in the laughing mood. Directed by Kiv Stenders (Boxing Day, Red Dog), Kill Me Three Times also stars Sullivan Stapleton, Alice Braga, Luke Hemsworth, and Bryan Brown and hits theatres on April 10, 2015.
