The latest episode, ‘Family – Support System’, of web-based reality series, brought to us by Fresh Strawberry, premiered on YouTube yesterday (January 20) and you can watch it here now. The exciting new web series follows eight London based entertainment entrepreneurs, including renowned DJ Melody Kane radio host Amanda Star, Capital Xtra’s Jade Avia, dating coach Siobhan Copland, promoter/DJ Mr Play, Chris Eubank’s son and boxer/personal trainer Sebastian Eubank, celebrity make-up artist/photographer Mr. Gorgeous, and comedian/Actor Travis Jay, as they continue on their journeys to fulfil their dreams of making it happen.
Each episode so far has taken viewers behind the scenes into the everyday lives of these upcoming public personalities – all who’ve attained a certain degree of success, but are now looking to take things to the next level with bigger and better opportunities. Status London will bring audiences up close and personal with some familiar faces within the UK urban entertainment industry, ready to share their real life experiences. Status London depicts the modern black British experience of ordinary individuals trying to achieve extraordinary things. The first series explores relatable themes from the meaning of identity, challenging stereotypes, the ups and downs of relationships (personal and professional) and the meaning of ‘status’.
