In one of his last roles before his passing, Robin Williams stars in the new trailer for family Christmas comedy A Merry Friggen Christmas. Williams plays Mitch, a less than affectionate father whose estranged son comes to stay over the Christmas period. Joel McHale plays Boyd, Mitch’s son, whose hesitation to spend time with his father only intensifies, when they must do an eight hour round trip to pick up some forgotten Christmas presents. British director Tristram Shapeero, is known for his work on UK TV shows like Green Wing and Jimmy Carr – Telling Jokes, but takes on this task with a familiar sense of humor and family-fun. A Merry Friggen Christmas hasn’t received a UK release date yet, but rumuor has is, it will be out via On Demand near the November US release. Check out the trailer below.
