Zach Braff directs and stars in the upcoming comedy drama Wish I Was Here. The story follows a struggling actor called Aidan Bloom who is also a husband and father of two. He is forced to start home schooling his children after his father can no longer afford private school for them, and the only public school in the area is in seriously bad condition. Bloom, at the age of 35, is still trying to find his path and the film follows him as he begins to do so. The film cast also includes Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Joey King and Donald Faison. Wish I Was Here was funded using Kickstarter and is set to open in UK cinemas on September 19, 2014.
