West London R&B/Soul artist Tayah, who was born and raised in West London, is an artist at the center of an emerging R&B scene, creating music that tells her story in her own unique way.
Tayah has received praise from audiences and peers for her unique style, exploration with sound, and lyrical narrative, having performed at venues such as The Southbank, Lovebox Festival, and Notting Hill Carnival, as well as receiving airplay on UK radio.
Tayah is still creating music that tells her story authentically, with her experiences uplifting her music. Her influences are ranging from 70s and 80s soul to reggae and rare groove to create a distinct, compelling, and likable sound.
Now, the R&B/Soul artist comes back with “Hotel Suite 31“, which is now available on all streaming platforms. The song is the latest from her upcoming second EP, Still Wonders, which will be released on April 28.
“Hotel Suite 31” offers up fresh sunny rhythms and an unmatched vocal flow as Tayah chooses a path to the hardship of coming of age and the significance of being persevere in one’s faith and beliefs, produced by Super Beats (IAMDDB) and mastered by Jacob Cardinal (A$AP Ferg, Rosalia, harlie Puth).
Speaking about the song, Taya says, “I needed to re-ignite this weak flame of fire I felt like I’d left inside, so naturally, I went back to my roots; the things I was raised on, the old Jamaican proverbs and scriptures, the things that make me who I am and remind me of what I’ve already come through.”
“Hotel Suite 31” comes after “Momentary High”, which was the first single from Taya’s upcoming EP Still Wonders, which is set to be released on April 28.
