It seems like the Deadpool magic is well and alive, as the latest installment and last Wolverine film to feature Hugh Jackman appears to be following in its footsteps. Fox (via Imgur user Raychaos) has recently shared show pamphlets as part of their Toy Fair representation, which shows information regarding some of their upcoming film releases.
It is apparent that Wolverine is slated for release on March 3, 2017, and will be receiving an R-rating. This is placed in comparison with other X-Men films that came before it, all of which received a rating of PG-13. Deadpool also received the same certification, as it featured a lot of obscene and graphic scenes. Thus one could make an assumption that Wolverine may be kicking it up a notch, especially with the new storyline from X-Men’s recent Retcon.
Though this does not equate to a similar level of certification in the UK, it might also receive a 15 age rating.
