The first footage of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman has been revealed alongside the trailer for Warner Bros.’ highly anticipated feature Suicide Squad. Set during the First World War and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielson, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis the footage has gone down a storm with fans and critics alike who praise Jenkins and head cinematographer Matthew Jensen in the strong vision they bring to the way the film is shot.
Special emphasis is made of the characters qualities as a warrior and a leader, two strengths that have set Wonder Woman apart from other DC superheroes, establishing her as a figure of inspiration. Wonder Woman is released on the June 23, 2017.
