An Italian TV crew have managed to capture footage showing the gigantic set of DC’s upcoming Wonder Woman movie; providing us with a glimpse into the mystical world of Themyscira. Despite being relatively short and filmed at a distance, the clip gives us an insight into the Amazonian world; featuring a combination of Ancient Greece and mythology.
The highly anticipated movie is being directed by Patty Jenkins, who previously directed 2003’s Monster. So far, little is known about the upcoming movie, but current cast members are: Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Lucy Davis (Etta Candy – Diana’s best friend), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta – Diana’s mother) and Robin Wright (General Antiope – Diana’s aunt).
Further updates will follow as the movie’s production progresses. All we know so far is part of the movie will take place during World War I, (thanks to leaked set photos) and therefore before the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the meantime, check out the set video below:
