To coincide with the release of his brand new project Project Purple, South London rapper Yungen has released a brand new video entitled “Comfortable“, enlisting the help of the talented Dappy in the brand new visuals.
The track is synonymous with the ‘Rags to Riches’ story, the ‘come up’ story that we know so well. Yungen treads his old hood surrounded by his family and his team reminiscing on his own story while both showing the duality of their former life and their present. Interspersed with special effects that match the theme of the album, it’s another quality visual, courtesy of Kaylum Dennis.
Project Purple, the follow-up to Project Black & Red, comes four and a half years after his last album so it was long overdue. His last project saw some big features and he doesn’t disappoint now with One Acen, Angel and Dappy having guest appearances. With notable appearances on tracks over the past few years, Yungen clearly is aiming for a solid spot in the UK music scene.
