East London rapper Yxng Bane played an intimate PERi-PERi fuelled gig at Nando’s Soho restaurant last night, to celebrate the launch of Nando’s Music Exchange 2018, which will take place this June.
The BBC Sound of 2018 longlist star entertained the crowd with a number of his hits, including top 10 single “Bestie“, and crowd-favourite “Rihanna“. Fellow stars Vanessa White, Isaac Chamberlain and Sian Anderson were all in attendance.
Nando’s Music Exchange inspires the exchange of global music influences through mentoring, workshops and explosive events; has previously seen the likes of Stormzy and Ella Eyre mentor young artists. Soon to be it’s fourth year, it will see professional artists work with aspiring acts from the UK, Canada, Australia, and Nando’s home of South Africa.
Growing its commitment to supporting young artists, and building on years ofing help fuel the music industry, Nando’s also recently opened its first ever in-restaurant recording studio. With professional gear, situated in the restaurant’s familiar surroundings, the studio is free to use for aspiring producers, artists and DJs ready to turn the heat up on their career.
