Zach Said is back with a new brand-single “Nothing Feels The Same”, a romantic but rhythmic song about “tensions and struggles in everyday relationships“.
The British musician started his career two years ago with the track “Contrast”, which was picked up by BBC Shropshire Introducing which pushed him towards the national airwaves. Then, his tracks “Craving” and “Screw Loose” were played on BBC Radio 1.
Since then, he has caught the attention of one of the biggest names in the music industry and signed with Laid Bare record. Among others, he supported rap juggernaut Anderson Paak in London, and delivered a lot of headline gigs.
He grew up in Shropshire and has a computer programming degree from the English town of Shrewsbury. He described himself as an “awkward romantic” which help him to write lyrics.
The fast-rising singer’s writes all of his songs and in this one, he shares his own experience of relationship issues, but it’s not as a depressing song, the resulting track is a loose slice of hip-hop soul with a touch of soul’s choral. His new song blends street-rap, soulful R&B beats, groovy guitar lines and intimates lyrics giving it a raw and powerful vibe.
Finally, Zach just headlined the Servant Jazz Quarters earlier this month. Listen to “Nothing Feels The Same: below.
