Zoolander Sequel Firmly In The Works | Film News
The 2001 comedy film Zoolander is now confirmed to have a sequel. Justin Theroux, who played a small role in the original film has announced to Vulture.com that the sequel now has a script. He also said, “I don’t want to jinx anything, but it looks like it actually might be starting to get up and running”. The release date has yet to be announced, but it has been confirmed that the plot will take place ten years after the 2001 classic with the two forgotten models having to reinvent themselves. Ben Stiller, who played the original protagonist of the first film, has announced that he hopes Will Ferrell will be back to play the villain, Mugatu. Will the sequel live up to the original? Fans can only hope.
