Fans of Cuckoo, the BBC family sitcom which stars Twilight actor Taylor Lautner as an eccentric American hippie and British funnyman Greg Davies as the long suffering dad of the Thompson family, will be pleased to hear that the comedy will be returning for a fourth and fifth series.
BBC Three controller, Damian Kavanagh, excitedly spoke out about its plans to return, stating:
“Cuckoo is brilliant. It’s coming back to BBC Three for two new series. What’s not to love about that?” He continues, “BBC Three is all about backing the best original British comedy that young people love, and they love Cuckoo.”
Cuckoo also stars Helen Baxendale, who plays the wife of Davies’ character and Tyger-Drew Honey in the role of their son. Andy Samberg also starred in the first series of the comedy, but was later replaced by Lautner in the role of his long lost son.
