Domhnall Gleeson And Michelle Pfeiffer Join New Jennifer Lawrence Drama | Film News
Jennifer Lawrence; Domhnall Gleeson; Michelle Pfeiffer; Ed Harris; Brian Gleeson; Darren Aronofsky. Add all of those components together and you have an explosion of creativity that makes the big bang look like a party popper. Luckily, this isn’t a Hollywood dream-team; this is happening.
Although we don’t have a title yet, we do know that the Aronofsky script follows the story of a tranquil couple and the disturbances they experience when uninvited guests begin to arrive at their home. Just the sort of disturbingly crazy caper to expect from Aronofsky, and with a cast like this in the frame of his lens we can expect great things. It has also been rumoured that Javier Bardem may be joining the cast; the cherry on the cake.
Aronofsky is looking to begin filming in June, so we are not likely to see this films this year. On another point, this is yet another project lined up for Domhnall Gleeson, who seems to be joining the ranks of the Hollywood elite. With roles lined up in Star Wars Episode VIII, A Futile & Stupid Gesture, and the A.A. Milne biopic Goodbye Christopher Robin, Gleeson is certainly making his presence known.
No doubt with his own talent and with the talent of those around him, this new Aronofsky project will be another jewel in his crown.
