DC's Legends of Tomorrow

With production starting this week for CW’s newest superhero show Legends Of Tomorrow, we have finally been treated to the first look at two of DC’s popular heroes, Hawkman and Hawkgirl. DC Comics Blog explains “that’s Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders and Falk Hentschel as her soulmate Carter Hall in the first official image of the two characters”.

While Hantschel has yet to appear on screen, Saunders did make a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in Flash season 1 as a civilian, which was a small easter egg for the Legends of Tomorrow show. Both however will make their on-screen debut as their winged-alter-ego’s during the big Arrow and Flash crossover event this year.

Described as soulmates “with powers derived from the ancient Egyptian hawk god, Horus, Kendra and Carter are destined to reincarnate through time as winged, helmeted warriors”. They will be joining Brandon Routh as The Atom, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave and Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.

With the trailer that was revealed at Comic-Con only a proof reel for the series to be picked up, it means we won’t actually be able to see any real footage of the team until Legends of Tomorrow debuts on CW next year.

I am here to share news, reviews and opinions about the comings and goings of the weird and wacky world of Film and TV.

With broad taste in TV from the WWE to Pretty Little Liars with a sprinkling of The 100 thrown in, Its safe to say I'm a mixed bag.

My favourite film changes on a dime but has been known to include Fight Club, The Departed, Black Swan and even The Hunger Games.

And not forgetting Empire Strikes Back ... but thats a given, right?
