English television show host and comedian, James Corden, had no trouble recounting the Oscars’ Best Picture fiasco when prompted by two casting directors from La La Land to “paint them a picture” in a (literally) pitch perfect parody of the audition scene from the six, sadly not seven, Oscar-winning 2016 film.
He got Emma Stone’s shy, nervous character down and to complete the image, Corden is snug in a periwinkle sweater and shiny red wig! The witty lyrics (“Here’s to the ones that lose/God, I need so much booze!”) and the sheer hilarity of Corden in character make this four minute clip definitely worth watching.
