Jordan Cox Departs From ‘The Great British Bake Off’ | TV News
This week’s episode of the nation’s favourite show, The Great British Bake Off, saw the departure of Jordan Cox after his creations failed to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry. The IT manager failed to impress throughout Bread Week. During the technical challenge which required the contests to make ciabatta rolls, Cox made the mistake of using oil, resulting in them not looking quite right.
The final challenge required the contests to make bread that could be used as a centre piece. It had to be tasty and look incredible. Cox used a tried recipe and aimed to create a raspberry and strawberry brioche. However, some of the dough remained raw. Cox was disappointed to leave and revealed that he had hopes of baking other creations. The Great British Bake Off will return next Wednesday, August 28 at 8pm on BBC One.
