Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster. All made Taxi Driver the cult classic that it was, launching their own careers in the progress. Fans of the film, and of the individual stars will be delighted then to hear that all three are set to attend the Tribeca Film Festival for a special screening of the film, which is celebrating 40 years of being released.
Jane Rosenthal of the Film Festival announced in a statement:
“Taxi Driver is one of the most brilliantly disturbing movies ever made, and why I chose to go into film. It’s had an indelible impact on pop culture, and its performances rank among the most memorable in cinema,”
