Netflix Confirms ‘Making A Murderer’ Due To Return For More Episodes | TV News
Controversial and popular are becoming one and the same now, I swear. Netflix has confirmed that it will be bringing back Making A Murderer for new episodes, directed by the same directors to show Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey in their struggle to overturn their convictions.
The first series took over 10 years to complete, directed by Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos. The new instalments will track the defendents legal teams as they challenge the state and their convictions. Both directors commented on the decision:
“We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response to, and support of, the series. The viewers’ interest and attention has ensured that the story is not over, and we are fully committed to continuing to document events as they unfold”.
