Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’ International Trailer: When Dinosaurs Talked Upon The Earth | Film Trailer

Today Pixar released the international trailer for The Good Dinosaur. Shorter than the first trailer, in which we are treated to some new footage of the dinosaur/human buddy comedy. The film was delayed from its initial release date in 2014 due to internal development clashes and the resulting replacement of its entire voice cast. The animated feature follows a young dinosaur, Arlo, who undertakes a dangerous journey with a human child. Though it sounds like an adaptation of a creationist museum set, Pixar have provided a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why these two species find themselves coexisting. Kind of…

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

 

The Good Dinosaur is helmed by Peter Sohn, and stars Jeffrey Wright, Raymond Ochoa, Frances McDormand, Steve Zahn, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, A.J. Buckley, Marcus Scribner and Jack Bright. The Disney distributed film will hit UK cinemas on November 27.
