Richard O’Brien Returns To ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ Musical | Arts

 

Richard O’Brien will return to The Rocky Horror Show on London Stage for a limited time only. O’Brien played Riff Raff in the original movie and also wrote it but in this limited time, the only appearance he will be making is as The Narrator. O’Brien will play in 11 of the shows at the Playhouse Theatre starting from September 11 until September 19. He will also be performing at a special charity night which will be played at cinemas across Europe. The UK cinema screening will be on September 17 at 6.45pm.

 

Its been 20 years since Richard O’Brien worked on The Rocky Horror Show’s London production. O’Brien said of his return, “Thanks to Picturehouse Entertainment, ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ is coming to a cinema near you! I’m delighted to be returning to London, where ‘Rocky’ started, and performing in the show after more than 20 years. It’s just fabulous that the world’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll musical will be beamed to many, many cinemas across the UK and Europe, via satellite.
