Conversations About Her

Simon Amstell Talks Love, Politics And Comedy On Guardian Webchat | Comedy

“You must love yourself. The reasons you have for not loving yourself, you have made up. Interrogate these false allegations until the beauty of your true self emerges. Good luck”. That’s Simon’s take on love, how endearing. The star of Popworld and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, recently held a webchat ahead of his upcoming To Be Free show, as part of his international tour. His stand up is very good, refreshingly intelligent and delicately honest, he is definitely a very funny man.

In the webchat, he discussed identity, moral concerns, humanism and kindness, among other things that concern him, it was an intriguing conversation with lots of pieces of enlightenment within his statements that were quite inspirational. The full webchat can be read here, with highlights from it available here. Tickets for his show can be purchased here.
