Slash Denies To Comment About GNR Reunion | Music News
Slash declined to provide a comment to the Telegram when asked about the rumours of a Guns N’ Roses reunion. In late August, Slash confirmed that there was no longer bad blood between himself and GNR lead-singer Axl Rose; reigniting rumours about a potential reunion.
The Telegram states that Slash “politely declined to broach the subject,” continuing, “with a new solo album in his sights, Slash is firmly committed to his current project.”
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor commented that he would “retire from touring” if the original GNR lineup reunited. Speaking to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Taylor said: “I will believe it when I buy the ticket…Because nobody gets more excited about the ‘Appetite For Destruction’ line-up coming back together…I would retire from touring because I wouldn’t want to go up against that.”
