‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Advanced Ticket Sales Pass $100 Million In North America | Film News
It hasn’t even been released yet, but already Star Wars: The Force Awakens has reached $100 million in pre-booked ticket sales in North America. The upcoming edition to the space saga has surpassed the previous record set by 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises; which sold $25 million in advanced tickets. It is also estimated that J.J Abrams’ creation will earn around $180 million – $220 million in the US during its opening weekend. With the countdown at its final few hours, may the force be with you… and remember, don’t spoil the film for others!
