The latest biopic based on Apple founder Steve Jobs, which features X-Men star Michael Fassbender in the title role, is due to close the 59th BFI London Film Festival in October. Director Danny Boyle said of Steve Jobs, “we had a brilliant time making this movie in Silicon Valley and I hope Londoners will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the modern world. It’s always special to bring work home so thanks to BFI London Film Festival for their continued support“. Steve Jobs was previously played by Ashton Kutcher in 2013’s Jobs, and the Fassbender-starring Steve Jobs is due for release in the UK on November 13.
