Christmas isn’t Christmas if you do not own a ugly, but adorable, jumper. Without Christmas jumpers, there is really no getting into the fun, jolly, merry, Christmas spirit. Primark seems to be the top place to go to, when looking for awfully designed cute Christmas garments, even Frozen leggings with big character pictures have scandalously been spotted on the racks this year. Even though the thought of wearing a knitted jumper with a reindeer or snowman or even a Christmas tree on, repulses you, you cannot go without it.
Wearing the festive clothing may not be deemed as ‘cool’ or ‘stylish’ but it seems to be all the rage at the moment, varying with all different ages! For children aged 5-8 you can expect this, barbaric ugly clothes wearing, but from teenagers, and women aged 20 and over, this seems a little out of the ordinary. However due to high street outlets such as Topshop and high end fashion designers such as Markus Lupfer, the idea of the cringy, sometimes seen as tacky, Christmas jumper has actually transformed into a social disgrace if you are seen or known to not having worn one leading up to a most celebrated holiday of the year. Guys get your Christmas jumpers out, dust ’em off, and strut your stuff down the street in the fabulous knitted pieces.
