6LACK – Switch | New Music
R&B’s rebellious soul is ready to give us new music and get the album train rolling. After confirming to fans “I think my album is done” via Twitter only a few days ago, 6LACK gives us the first taste of what is to come with brand new single “Switch“.
With uncredited vocals from Ty Dolla $ign, “Switch” is an oozing dark, moody cut that delves into the idea of paranoia, relationships and heartbreak. Taking inspiration from the iconic 2003 film Freaky Friday, 6LACK sings: “Let switch bodies for a day / You could me be and I could be you.”
It’s his second solo release of the year from the East Atlanta native after dropping “Cutting Ties” on Valentine’s Day as well as a spur of notable features. Of them all, the one that has gotten people talking the most recently is his appearance on the collaborative track with Khalid and Ty Dolla $ign called “OTW“. We’ll be waiting in anticipation for more great music.
