Things weren’t shaping up well for the latest The X-Factor UK winner Louisa Johnson: after her debut single “Forever Young” peaked at #9 on the British Chart – the absolute lowest for the talent show’s champions – chances for her to get dropped were extremely high.
However, the Essex-born singer,17, announced today her collaboration with the uber-successful band Clean Bandit, whose first smash-hit “Rather Be” featured the then-unknown Jess Glynne. We all know what happened next, and Louisa’s management is probably hoping to replicate Glynne’s success following the same formula.
“Tears” will be released worldwide tomorrow, and it has already been playlisted by Capital FM and BBC Radio 1.
We’re really excited to announce our new single ‘Tears’ ft. @louisa! Stay tuned for more info… #Tears
