A rough show with equally poor ratings, working on it must have been hard. Top Gear presenter, Rory Reid, has commented that joining the BBC Two motoring show was “like being a soldier parachuted into a war”.
A newcomer to the show, Reid has said that he expects major changes to the format for the next series – one having already come to fruition with Evans stepping down as host – but has confirmed he has not signed a new contract to appear in the show.
Reid went onto comment:
“Well it’s been a very intense experience, way more involved than I ever thought any show could be. The level of scrutiny that the show is under has just been absolutely immense”.
