Netflix has released the first trailer for their documentary short, Long Shot. The film follows the story of Juan Catalan, who was arrested for a murder he didn’t commit, and the only way to save his life was to prove that he was one of 56,000 people at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Unfathomably, Larry David might be the key to the case…
The trailer above contains enthralling snippets of what seems to be an incredible story, and continues the current wave of popularity true crime documentaries are having, with Netflix themselves already having produced Making A Murderer and Amanda Knox.
Long Shot is only a short, and it’s not yet known how short, but looks to be just as enthralling and interesting as its longform counterparts. Hopefully the documentary can have the same impact as the Netflix-produced ones to come before it.
Long Shot arrives on all Netflix territories Friday, September 29.
