The London-based singer and songwriter Chloë Black has just dropped off a brand new single entitled “Waterbed“. The American artist after the released of her previews global hits “27 Club” and “Wild At Heat” took a period of break, but now we are glad she has come back with her hauntingly emotive voice.
The nostalgic dark pop singer explains about this new track “I grew up partly in Seattle during the nineties and because of that grunge has a big place in my heart. ‘Waterbed’ is symptomatic of my nineties nostalgia but shot through a 2017 lens. I don’t want to say too much about it because I prefer when people are able to interpret things their own way; but I will say that to me the song is more than just literal“.
After her return, Chloë has gained the nickname of The White Witch, indeed she’s back with a harder exterior perfectly applied make up and bleach soaked hair and her usually strong confidence while she sings.
