Robyn Paige + Josh Kai – Ocean Deep | Music Video
The London-based singer and songwriter Robyn Paige has just unveiled the music video for her new track “Ocean Deep” featuring Josh Kai. This single is taken from her upcoming debut EP Genesis, which Robyn is now proud to announce the released date for November 10.
“Ocean Deep”, produced by frequent collaborator Sampl, was released via EARMILK and follows the success of her two preview singles “Righteous” and “White Space“. It’s a majestic and poignant single in which we can here Robyn trademark emotive vocals and lush tone.
Most importantly are the clever lyrics of this piece, indeed she opens up an honest dialogue around asking for the help we all sometimes need, to pull ourselves out of a place, in love or life, that we desperately need to get out of.
“This is one of my favourite tracks from the EP and came to me really easily, I don’t think it’s like anything Sampl and I have made before, and also having Josh on the track was great as it further hones into the meaning of the song, with the call and response on bridge. I think we all sometimes find ourselves in a place where we need help or encouragement and I think sometimes that goes unnoticed in ourselves and by people around us” she explains.
Check out the music video directed by Olan collardy, which can bring us into her world, and artistic and creative mind.
