After 17 years in the iconic British luxury brand Burberry, fashion designer Christopher Bailey will step down from his post. The designer who will leave the big fashion brand around March 2018, brought some trends back that, otherwise would be on it way out.

For example, the trench coat that lots of women are wearing again all through the seasons. It has now become a must-have for every woman’s wardrobe collection, thanks in part to Burberry and Bailey’s work with the brand.

Another fashion staple that recently has become ‘popping’ again is the monogrammed poncho or ponchos in particular. On ‘The Bloomsbury Girls’ autumn/winter 2014 show, the famous British model, singer and actress Cara Delevingne appeared on the runway wearing equestrian-inspired blanket ponchos. For all the ponchos, each were monogrammed in their own initials.

These are just some of the things that have been designed under Christopher Bailey’s legacy in Burberry. Check out some the retrospective work during Christopher Bailey’s time in Burberry below.
